Some reason that might cause the outage
Many people ping the Facebook website to see if there is data transfer pinging means to test the connection speed between your computer and a website.
Pinging can diagnose the strength, distance, and availability of a connection over the internet.
While those social media were down, it was impossible for a small data set to be transmitted from a device to a server.
On the Internet and back to your device again on Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook only in Iran it was showing some data transfer.
The WhatsApp account on Twitter said they were working on what they called Asap (Asynchronous Services Access Protocol).
It uses the term asynchronous to mean that the requests and responses are not synchronized.
Facebook blames ‘’ faulty configuration change ‘’ according to Reuters.
